The Short List:
(There is a Long List, but due to my humanitarian leanings, I refrain from sharing it with you.)
1. Book reduction underway. Failing utterly. My powers are weak. The Force is not strong with me.
2. Someone tried to scam us on Craigslist. I, being a sucker but not a fool, opened my jaws, but did not bite. Instead, I would like to invite all you scammers out there to BITE ME.
3. Lactose intolerance is no joke, my friends. Damn the spinach manicotti.

I took a whole backseat car load to the Goodwill last Saturday and I still have junk. It felt good though to haul some of it away.
I also tried a book purge – could only part with 4 though – took them to the used bookstore which told me they’re only giving credit, not cash, so I ended up walking home with 2 more books I didn’t need.
Ah, yes, the sweet siren song of “store credit.” Sing to me, O sweet, sweet store credit, of flashlight trysts under the bedcovers and the bookshelf yawning wide.
Yeah…I’ve lost my mind a little bit. I think it’s in one of these here boxes, I know I saw it yesterday, next to my cookbooks…
